Sidekick rule book

I loved the sidekick rule book out last year. I believe a slighty more deluxe version of this should have been the intitial Hero system book as it would be more affordable for those who are exploring new systems (as opposed to investing $50 for a game that they aren't even sure they will like). It was great. I bought several as Xmas presents.
Is it still available?

    it's currently our of print but we have a reprint coming in the very near future. because of printing costs and the low retail price it doesn't have much of a profit margin for us. you can pick it up in PDF format in our online store, however.

      I've got a few people in the GeeskOn message forums interested in Hero. I think they'd do well to start with Sidekick.
